Accessibility

Every video is captioned before it can be published, every control is reachable from a keyboard, and the interface adapts to what you need it to be.

What you can turn on

  • Reduce motion

Removes the animated entrances, the floating artwork and the confetti. Your device setting is honoured too.

  • Increase contrast

Darker text, stronger borders and a heavier focus ring.

  • Larger text

Scales the whole interface up by a fifth without breaking layouts.

  • Reading-friendly font

Switches to a wider, more evenly spaced typeface with looser letter and line spacing.

  • Always underline links

Shape, not just colour, marks every link in body text.

  • Appearance

Dark keeps the reading surfaces dim without dulling the artwork. Matching your device follows the system setting as it changes.

What is always true

  • Every video is captioned

Captions are a publishing requirement, not an afterthought — a course with an uncaptioned video lesson cannot be published at all, and the Studio names the specific lessons blocking it.

  • Everything works from a keyboard

Every control is reachable by Tab and operable by Enter or Space, menus and dialogs trap and restore focus, and a Skip to content link is the first stop on every page.

  • Colour never carries meaning alone

Every status is a colour plus an icon plus a word. The active tab is marked by a bar as well as a tint, because the tint alone does not clear 3:1 on a pale background.

  • Targets are at least 44 pixels

Buttons, tabs and icon controls all clear the minimum touch target, and text inputs are set at 16px so iOS Safari does not zoom the page when one takes focus.

  • Your device settings are honoured

A device asking for reduced motion or increased contrast gets it without touching anything here — the in-app switches exist for shared and managed devices where the system setting cannot be changed.
